An insight into our menu has Starters, the tasteful appetizers, which stimulate the taste buds and prepare the palate for the courses to follow. These light and delicate snacks make a perfect accompaniment to your drink. We are known for these celebrity starters - the Bhindi Rajasthani and the Makkai Revival alias Corn & Pepper Fritters.

Known through the years for it's excellent vitalizing qualities, soup has today come to be known as, 'the overture to the meal'. We have a variety of soups both thick and thin, the traditional Shorbhas as well as the Italian Minestrones. Shorbha, as it was served at the Moghul court is a thicker and tastier version of the Western Potage.

The main courses are listed under the 'Entree' and the 'From Our Ovens' sections, which normally constitute the principal part of a meal. A selection of Italian, French, North Indian, Rajasthani and Tandoori delicacies are available. A variety of Indian breads also baked in the Tandoor, is recommended as accompaniment.

Native to India and China, rice forms the staple food of three-quarters of the world's population. The two types of rice mainly used in restaurant cooking are Indica or long-grain, which stay separate when cooked and short grain or japonica which are round grained and tend to stick together when cooked. We use the more fragrant long-grained Basmati variety for our Pilaffs and Biryanis, while the japonica variety forms the main ingredient for our Risottos and rice salads.

Salads mainly constitute a variety of vegetables, fruits and herbs, seasoned with oil, vinegar, salt and pepper and together with a special salad dressing. Dressings add flavor and contain properties that help keep salad vegetables fresh and firm. Raitas, the Indian equivalent of Salads, consist of freshly beaten curd to which an assorted mix of vegetables is added along with a sprinkling of traditional Indian spices. Both Salads and Raitas make excellent low calorie fare and are favourites with slimmers.

Every dessert should be a fitting finale to the meal it follows. Served either ice-cold, steaming hot or both, we have a host of Indian and Continental desserts to satisfy every sweet tooth. We are truly proud of our selection of desserts, which stand apart from desserts available elsewhere.
